I've seen KSE three times (and played with them one of those times!) and every time Adam has put on the funniest fucking show AND played ridiculously tight. If he was sloppy as shit, it might be detrimental to the show - but he isn't.
You can't help but smile watching them. Some people think it cheapens the songs - I think it's like a comedy and metal show at the same time. Double win.
His banter between songs is also insane.
I hope the new album is a bit different/interesting/heavier/whatever, though.
AoJB was a fantastic album, brutal and melodic and genuinely groundbreaking (imho).
End of Heartache was a great poppy/catchy metal album, but I thought Daylight Dies was bit treading water. The songs were pretty good and memorable still, but it felt to me like just more of the same. Maybe it's because simply structured metal with sung chorus in the key of C has been done to death now.
I think they need to think a bit outside the box on their next album.
