They don't have bad lyrics, it's just their instrumentation is so bland and boring, I don;t like it.

Check it... if you're a King Fan... add this gem to your collection. It's great to know the King still rocks. King Diamond's voice is a little lower than when he was younger.. but what would you expect? The melodies on this album are wonderful and the chug is all you would want and more from metal.

As for the instrumentation issues... I don't quite understand the problem. Classic metal line up... and a pipe organ to boot. What's the problem? I will say that the cymbals sound more programmed than live... but, that could be a result of triggering or something. Eitherway, it doesn't TAKE away from the music...

I don't know... I really dig the old Mercyful Fate stuff... and K.D. solo stuff is on constant rotation on my itunes... so, I'd say once again... if you're a fan. Go ahead and pick this baby up!
