Drag the yellow bar to around 45 minutes. It's not that bad, sounds similar to their last disc. Rene's clean vox sound pretty good.

I was under the impression the band was going in a completely new direction with the new lineup. That being said, I am pleasantly surprised to hear this, since it's clear it's still Mercenary. Rene does sound good indeed.

Maybe I should revisit the last album. I remember not being the biggest fan, but there's no reason why I shouldn't try it again.

I like it too... I totally expected this to be a train wreck as I've never been a huge fan of Rene's growls... but he doesn't go overboard with it, and the one time he really gets brutal with it, it's just a quick "I am the follower" that reminded me a lot of the "I am" that Speed did on THTR. I'm getting excited for this cd now, previously I was dreading it.
