Here is my newest mix, I have been recording myself for a couple years now.
I did all the guitars and bass with podfarm, drums are EZ drummer cymbals and steven slate kick with a random snare i found online.

My equipment consists of a line 6 toneport gx and a bluebird mic.
Im using reaper as my program

I have just been reading around online and have came up with all my eq'ing and mixing techniques from that.

please listen and tell me what you think I should do from here, thanks

The mix is pretty good, but I think the snare sounds way out of place.

thanks for the responses, can you explain what you mean by the snare being out of place? and I also think the mix is lacking some bottom end bass, it sounds kind of treble-ish to me.

it might be the fact that i'm not a drummer lol, i am just learning and getting use to programming drums and drum writing/placement in general

I mean that that type of snare doesn't really fit in with the rest of the music. It sounds more like a heavy metal snare.

Also, cut out some of the highs from the OHs. There's a lot of that "piercing" sound going on.

awesome thanks a lot for the feedback man, I think i had way too much reverb on the snare, I took a shit load off.
and i cut some 4-8k
