Hey guys, haven't posted anything in a while so I thought I would post something new. Basically I recorded this song a couple of months ago but never did much with it because I didn't think it ended up very good.

But yesterday I felt like mixing something and didn't have any other projects lying around, so I decided to remix it anyway. I ended up being pretty happy with the mix so I thought I would post it here to see what you think.
I had brand new bass strings on when I recorded this so I decided to make the bass really prominent (even though its out of tune at one part and I'm to lazy to rerecord/tune it, even if it pisses me off :)).

Feel free to give it a listen and comment if you like!

Great tune, as usual.

I'd only mess with the drum programming velocities. Mostly OH's and Kick. Snare velocities are a little high in general, I can notice it in the intro.

Some more saturation for a distant fx in the outro maybe.

Anyway, good work.

Yeah, I agree with the drum prog, it sounds a bit too static. I should defininetly work more on those, thanks for the input!

very nice guitar processing. sounds badass

great song exzem. i am always very surprised with your songs.
what did you use for guitar & bass this time?

Thanks guys, the bass is 3 tracks: The first track is just a DI track with an impulse and very compressed(0.5ms attack ~10db red) and hp/lp to only to give a nice low end around 80-130 hz, one track with Ampeg SVX for the main sound and a one very subtle distorted track mixed it (which is just an Ampex SVX track with cranked gain boosted by a TSS with max gain), this track is hp pretty high to remove most of the low end.

The distorted guitar tracks are lepous LeXTAC (brighter setting, bass/mid/high/contour at 6/4/5/7), while the cleans are lepou soloC(clean channel flat eq) with lots of compression with the free plugin TLs2095-LA.
