I think calling Nevermore the future of thrash (or anything else) is as dumb and misguided as calling them power metal...for me they represent the present of metal, traditional ideals recast for a generation raised on more extreme metal.

And the remnants of psychedelia aren't a genre. It's a state of mind you have be tuned into.

Ive never heard anyone call Nevermore Thrash metal, nor should they. Calling them a Death Metal band with clean vocals is far worse though.
