Here´s some old stuff i rediscoverd on my computer. I decided to redo the guitars and drum sampling. Guitars will be to silent for the most of you, but i´m little afraid to destroy the epic character of the track (and my well-known pick-up problem isn´t conducive). Maybe someone can get somthing out of it. Can i re-release it on my myspace? check it out!

Dude, awesome song I love orchestrated stuff.

I don't think you would ruin the character by making the guitars a bit louder, would sound more in your face. And yeah you should ditch that "drrrshing!" sample thing that you use in the start and in the end, or maybe just use it 1 time. Kinda ruins the character and feels very fake when you use it that often.

Great music and this mix sounds good. Tell me something, what version of edirol do you have? I have edirol too but dont sound so big as yours.

Don´t know what version, i think there isn´t any difference. Think the reason why it came out so big is that i always put some stormdrum loops/samples or other orch. percussions underneath (search google for free g-town church samples). It´s right, edirol itself isn´t that cinematic. I usually only use the slow and stacc strings and the fat horns, cause they sound badass (at least for me and my stuff). It were tiny shit without the sd loops. But in this clip i used the edirol perc. too.

There are different versions. My version only have 100 megas!lol If exist differences between the versions I dont know. Edirol have nice things, like the harp and some combinations but the strings sound thin, for that I use Nexus, it have great strings sounds. Ahh and there is a thing that I hate in edirol, he dont save anything that I do but it must be of my shitty version. Thanks for the info.

Just listening on shitty speakers right now but the mix sounds good. The guitars sound pretty balanced, their not over shadowing the orchestra which is important because your arrangement is very cool. I'm not a fan of Edirol but you got it to sound HUGE!! Storm drum does help a lot though.
Good job.

Yeah i know it´s annoying. You have to save your presets manually direct in edirol. System->File->Save Performance and if you open your project same way System->File->Load Prformance.

I didnt know that. There were a time that I was searching for that and didnt find. What a dumbass:cry: Thanks:heh:
