That's one of the reasons I love Symphony X so much because their melodies/choruses stick in my brain.

To a prog fan, improbable time signatures and use of unorthodox instrumentation can hook the listener as effectively as an immediate melody...sometimes anyway.

LMAO yeah if humming along to prog is forbidden and i have to burn all albums that have hum along melodies..then i have to burn all my SymX albums, because I'm always humming along and singing to them.

I am not a hum type of guy... i belt it out at the top of my lungs, regardless of wether or not i know the lyrics... and my voice is horrible so it's even more fun lol.
