Coming out 09/27/04

I cannot wait. This is my most anticipated album of the year easily

Its not great is it.

To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure if it is the cover. They have 5 albums with awesome cover art, so I dunno if this is the actual cover for the new album. Seems a bit 'whacked together in photoshop in 3 minutes' to me as well.

I hope so :) Nothing worse than a band who doesnt care about making cool cover art :)

This is the poster that was used to promote the one off concert that they performed of the new studio album a few months back. Thought they might use this as a base for the cover?

Anyway, 27th of September... Thats like a month and a half away :headbang: I havnt been this excited since a month before Train of Thought.

I know Gildenlow won't let me down. He's a genius.

That cover needs more dragons. And a battlefield. A big one.

Have you heard Pagans Mind and Zero Hour Sprucey? Its exactly the kind of crap you and Wenda would LOVE :) I have albums by both bands and they are not bad, but its definitely something people who love prog would go apeshit over so you should look into both of them :)

...I think we just got insulted, Sprucey :erk:

Thanks for the heads-up though, man. I knew this was coming, but I hadn't been following closely, so I didn't know how soon. I actually don't mind that cover; it's got minimalist style :)

Yeah, if that is the real cover, I am sure it would look cool in real life. I can't see how a band like POS who are pretty professional with their releases, would release something that looked like shit.

Just look at the cover of 12:5... That is stunning I think.

Havnt heard Pagans Mind or Zero Hour. Funnily enough, I dislike alot of Prog. I love Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Opeth etc, but alot of the really technical DT rip offs I am not too keen on. I have one shadow gallery album which is awesome, but I am not interested in buying their other stuff. Same thing with Symphony X. I got Twilight in Olympus years ago and didnt mind it, but never felt the need to get their others, although I have heard they are quite good.

Well every review I have seen of Pagans Mind has given them full marks, every single one. I dont understand it myself, but maybe you will, the albums called Celestial Entrance anyway if you want to look for it :)
