New Preamp Pedals Day

really interested to know how they are.. i mean, can you plug it into a fender hot-rode and get crushing metal tone ?

These pedals are designed to go into the FX Loop of amps, replacing the preamp section of a head/combo. The Hot Rod specifically doesn't have an FX Loop option so those pedals won't be the right choice for that setup HOWEVER there is a Drive Series from AMT based on the same Legend Amps but designed to go into the input and in that case then yes you can turn the hot rod into a dirty little naughty screamer. Check out the YouTube demos of those!

Having had those pedals I can tell you that AMT products are built like tanks and are excellent units, on top of the fact that they are intensely affordable.

Those pedals I got are $130 a pop!
