New Primal Fear videoclip for "Killbound"

NICE! Very cool video! But, doesn't that guitar riff sound suspiciously like Judas Priest's "One On One"
from Demolition ;) (a very underrated, but great Ripper-era Priest album!)

Sorry man, but I never heard anything great on Demolition...

That's cool, I totally understand your opinion & stance on anything non-Halford Priest! I, on the other hand, thoroughly LOVED the whole entire Demolition album, as opposed to the Jugulator album! :kickass:
And yes, I'm a MAJOR Halford & Judas Priest fan, BUT imo
I truly liked the Demolition album alot!
I guess, it's also because I Love Ripper Owens vocals a lot!
Pretty much, w/ any band he's sang w/! Especially Yngwie's
Perpetual Flame!
Oh well, you can't please everyone!
You say tomato, and I say tOmahto! ;)
It's all good! Variety is the spice of life! :)

I also liked Demolition. Suterfuge is an ass kicker IMO. I also liked Jugulator, and prefer both of them to anything Priest has done in post Halford reunion era.

On topic I'm pretty unimpressed with 16.6 over all. It has a couple killer songs, but too many songs with overly cliché lyrics.

You have to be kidding me. I understand those that don't like "Nostradamus". It's a different type of album for them, one in which I like a lot but I get those who wouldn't. However, "Angel of Retribution" was a very good album. Yes I am a hardcore Priest fan but those two albums with Ripper SUCKED!!! It had nothing to do with him though. I think he's one of the top vocalists period but the songs were just really, really poorly written. There was nothing memorable and it seemed they wanted to be heavy just to be heavy without putting any type of melody or groove what so ever into the music. It was obvious to me after listening to them that those guys aren't particularly great at songwriting unless Halford is in the mix.

Primal Fear's 16.6 just kills Demolition and Jugulator IMO. It's one of the best PF albums for me and some real killer traditional heavy metal. I didn't pay real attention to the lyrics but I don't think they must be worse than Priest ones...

Angel Of Retribution also kills both Ripper-era discs. And Nostradamus in its edited version does it too.

I wasn't just talking about the lyrics in terms of songwriting, which I do think is better than the Ripper discs. Musically, the songwriting I thought was pretty poor too.
