New RC Feature Uploaded: TESTAMENT

Great feature, this. Turns out there aren't many bad Testament albums according to it. Me, I wouldn't have been so kind on "Practice..." and "The Ritual."

Yes, I think "Practice..." has quite a bit of less-than-spectacular material a.k.a. filler songs. So sue me. I'm almost prepared to put "Souls of Black" above "Practice..."

I blame this dementia on your menstrual cycle and creamy nipple discharge.

Please remove these from your head ->

The reviews are all bloody good reads so well done to everyone.

The graphics and the layouts are just awesome. This website and its staff writers, in my humble opinion, blow the competition away.

I bow my head to all thee of Royal Carnage.

By the way, we did realize that the Practice... backdrop for the review index was extremely pixelated, but we weren't sure what to do with an image that size (other than blow up a small album cover).

Thankfully, bloodfiredeath has pointed me to a site that holds higher quality album covers and so this will be rectified soon. It's a pain to change it all now, but one day it'll get a face lift. Sooner or later.

We're still working on a crappy old laptop (800x600) - it's deplorable, but we've got a new super-duper PC arriving any day now, and so things will improve (at least for us).

I think it looks kinda cool, almost like the image is so close that its out of focus. But yeah, I guess it is a bit pixelated. :)

I think it looks nice on the front page. With all honesty, we didn't pick that album cover because it's their most famous album or anything, but because we think the artwork is incredible. Testament, for the most part, had HORRIBLE album covers but Practice... was an artistic gem.

Anyone who remotely knows anything about Testament will know the cover of Practise. It is just awesome to look at.

Have to admit, I liked this one because the whole team participated. That can't happen all the time, but I'm glad it worked for Testament.

By the way, does anyone know if the UM user, "Testament Legions", is in fact Chuck Billy? I think it might be, based on Chuck's contact details at their website.

I think not, no. He's just the web master and stuff I think but is pretty close to the band. Ask him. :p However, Chuck billy's son is on the boards and seems to be walking in his father's footsteps...

note: i'd love to do a megadeth feature, as i have worshipped them since i was a wee lad

no, it aint gonna be Megadeth, although they would be a good band to do ONCE THE NEW ALBUM IS OUT!! Otherwise it would end on a really sour note since their last two albums, compilations, and live efforts were utter garbage.....and I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt...maybe there is some magic left, who knows, heh.
 :heh: :Smokedev: :muahaha: :kickass:

By the way, bloodfiredeath (RIP) sent me a URL containing scanned images of album covers for use with the Testament feature. I lost that URL when I got my new machine. Anyone know of a site with scanned cover art?

Where the fuck did bloodfiredeath go anyhow? I remember he came back for about 3 posts saying he was trying not to visit forums anymore or something.

By the way you're right, that would make an excellent next feature. :kickass:
