this thread made me go and listen to some old slipknot again, and now I'm realizing how poorly that self-titled album was mixed, especially the drums, that kick sounds pretty pathetic...anyone agree?

iowa was a huge step up tho in terms of the mixing

Well I do sing clean/scream already. My scream is just pitched a lot higher than my speaking voice. I can't get a lower tone to sound forceful so I just don't use it.

What part of your throat is producing the fry here?

"Karhu" = "Bear" in Finnish BTW

Thanks for the comments guys! Hey Clark, that;s why we chose the name Karhu Also the screams are high up in my throat similar to where I sing clean.
