The new Septic Flesh album, titled "Sumerian Daemons", will be released on Hammerheart Records the 27th of January 2003. It will contain 13 songs, some of which are entitled Red Code Cult, Faust, Infernal Sun, Mechanical Babylon, Dark River, The Virtues of the Beast.
The recording of "Sumerian Daemons" were done at Fredman Studios, Sweden, and Fredrik Nordstrom did the sound engineering and coproducing. The photo-shoot/artwork will be done by Set<'h> and the famous FX Masters, the Alafouzos brothers (also known for cinema and TV-productions), in Greece. Images taken from the upcoming release is available on the bandsite.
The official Septic Flesh website has this to say about the album: "The musical direction of "Sumerian Daemons" is the apotheosis of extremity in all forms and a praise to the dark ancient ways that still live on, disguised with the skin of the new age... The new sound is a huge wall made from brutal guitars, with nightmarish, mesmerizing melodies while the deep low vocals of Set<'h>. are combined with the cinematic style of a full choir directed from Chris A. and the returning dramatic voice of Natalie Rasoulis. You can also expect some ultra violent, fast paced songs that will make your ears bleed."
Septic Flesh is hoping to hit the road after the release.
