I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm a big fan of these guys. As an added bonus their new disc, Seasons, comes out on my birthday (10/7). It's going to have a DVD with it too.

Sevendust is one of the heaviest bands I've ever heard. I've been a fan of them since about 1997 i can't wait for this new cd to come out. I thought Animosity wasn't as good as their earlier stuff but after repeated listens it's really really grown on me im interested in seeing that bonus dvd. They were actually just here in chicago a couple of days ago i believe doing an all acoustic set which i missed unfortunately. I saw them do a couple of acoustic numbers on Last Call with Carson Daly a few months back and i thought that was excellent.

These guys are the most talented band in their genre in my opinion. Some songs to look for are, Black,My Ruin,Denial,Waffle,Tits on a Boar,Trust,Follow,and Live Again. Those are my faves with each album they put out they put more and more melody into the heavy parts so if you are looking for some ass kicking heavy down tuned songs to headbang to get songs from their self titled debut. If you are looking for something more melodic Animosity is a great album.

i dont really like them, they are too nu-metal for me and yes ive heard shit from home s/t and animosity, i dont like it, i saw them live because i used to be a nu-metal teeny bopper when iw as about 14 and bought a ticket to a local "x - fest" and they left me with a foul taste in my mouth, i thought they were just weak, and after that show i found megadeth because i watned to find something faster and from then till now, a Violent Metal Revolution has occured.

they are definitely not that catchy at all...and please..the heaviest band uve ever heard?!! i speak from experience i own "home", i believe that is the name of the cd..its really really bad. i didnt even like it when i bought it several years ago..and thats saying a lot because i liked korn at the time ..ya i said it..proceed with the laughing..

Sevendust and heavy don't go together. However, unprovoked use of sexual stereotypes is worse than calling Sevendust heavy *rolls eyes*

Anyway, to anyone who hasn't heard Sevendust, they sound vaguely like Stone Sour, just less grungy, and with a non-shitty singer.
