new slayer single-cult

Great track and good omen for the new album

But......I just got the message from the new tour and they did it again; touring with a bunch of shit nu-death whatever bands and asking 50 dollers to see it all...Last years touring with Slipknot was pretty lame, and now they do it again..Sorry, don't buy that; where are Kreator, Exodus, Anthrax, Metal Church , etc...I wanna see Slayer with quality bands , no In-Flames-CoB(sorry Hawk, don't like them) -Lamb of God ...

Don't worry buddy, in general I agree with you. I don't understand why Slayer wants to tour with those crappy bands, apart from COB that is, and the price for the gig is way too high.

I know they have to eat as well, and I respect that but please tour with bands that fit the main act. How hard can that be?

have to say that Lamb of God are amazing live. They put on one hell of a show and I really enjoy Ashes of the Wake. Of the newer Metal-core (or whatever they are being called) bands LoG are the best.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Slayer, Sepultura, and Kreator tour.

Call it like "Thrash Days" Tour or somthing..

They would have to play stuff from "Arise" and "Reign In Blood" of course, non of that new shit.

If i remember correctly slayer did do some shows with sepultura and i think SOAD before they were awful, i think that was 98 or around that mark

on the new song, sounds like the others on god hates us all to me, which is dissapointing imo, still tis only 1 track and remain hopeful

Slayer, Sepultura, and SOAD all played at a Ozzfest together maybe..

Otherwise, It would make sense that Sep and Slayer would tour together.. "Arise" sounded so much like "Reign IN Blood" (Not vocal wise) to me.

Well its... s'ok. Nothing to write home about but not awful either. I guess I have to hear the whole disc.

Not bad.

Nice drumming from Lombardo as expected, at least much better than Ulrich in that new Metallica song but that's no surprise :heh: I'm glad he's back in Slayer.
I'm not a big fan of the guitar tone though so far... hmm, maybe it's just a matter of time, we'll see.

Not quite. Slayer and Sepultura played the first Ozzfest together, but that was only a 2 date tour (Arizona and California). SOAD and Slayer have played multiple times on the Ozzfest.

BTW, Sirius radio is also playing Jihad from the new CD. I have an Mp3 of it, but I have to pull it off my player first.
