New Slayer

Got it a few days ago, I waited too long. I absolutely love this album! So brutal and violent, some of the best Slayer I've ever heard. I love Tom's yelling as opposed to the constant screaming in most metal nowadays. You can actually understand what he's saying (making it much more offensive). Two classics in a row for Slayer!

It is a great album. A huge step-up from GHUA. Sure the lyrics are cheasey at times, but the music is slamming. Flesh Storm, Eyes of the Insane, Jihad, Consfearacy, Cult... totally crushing. Black Serenade is a great tune also.

I remember reading an interview with Anthrax years ago where Scott (I think) said Testament was just a Metallica rip-off. I personally love Testament and think they've made their own place in metal history. Opinions are like assholes I guess.
