New Song at the Lighthouse Cafe Sat Night!!!

We are debuting a new song that I started working on with Wrathchild and never performed....until this SAT night...

What could it be? Any guesses?

HINT: It *might* be on Jojo's favorite Maiden album.

:Shedevil:

On Live After Death? The only song on there you don't do is Revelations...

Ready to rock to whatever you want to throw at us!
Anything off either Somewhere or Piece album would be fantastic! I know my choices are probably longshots for the Maidens show, and don't mean squat to anyone else, but here's my wishlist for the new song:
Off of Somewhere in Time: Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner cuz I plan to wear my new red Iron Maidens T-shirt running in the SD Rock and Roll Marathon on June 1. If the Maidens are interested in playing at the marathon the website says they are looking for 40 bands.

Off Piece: I have Sun and Steel constantly going through my head, don't know why I like that song so much, must have something to do with the California sun...

(It couldn't possibly be Reach Out, the Wasted Years b-side that Adrian Smith sings lead on with Bruce backing, could it?)

Now that would definately be a surprise. :hypno:

Well that narrows it down to about 13-14 songs. But, if my senses are right, I pick Still Life. If my pick is right, what's my prize???

Wrong answer for today's Maidens trivia question... The merry maids of Iron performed "Still Life" twice, once at Kozmos and once at Paladino's (or was that 14 Below?). Somehow the song never quite worked as well live as the band had hoped, so it was kinda dropped. Maybe the Maidens will pick it up again.

I remember hearing you gals play Still Life, so it was probably your last Maidens gig at Paladinos. I thought it was awesome, but then ALL the songs the Maidens do sound awesome!

I just must hear you gals do Alexander The Great...
:D

MELSY Is right....come on RED SHIRT...you have to remember we played STILL LIFE....
.

I only remember you playing pieces of it from the acoustic show. I thought that was a hint of you all practicing to play it in full lengh. I also remember you played pieces of Caught Somewhere In Time. If you've played it in the past at a show(s) I was at (which is quite possible), then I'm just having a major BRAIN FART!@#$

And Toast...my my my we are demanding. Even the Maiden Gods themselves don't play Alexander the Great...if we do it will be to finalyze a bunch of material we must still learn.... but hang in there.

Well, I seem to remember something about you gals having learned this with the old bassist - but I must be mistaken!

And I apologize if I came across as demanding - just expressing my wish to hear your rendition of this song! Besides, that is what fans do - make requests!!!
;)

And Maiden doesn't do the Rime either as I remember, but you gals do and we love you for it!
:p
