new song (my own band)

like a 98% done mix of my band's new song, it's not exactly metal but it has some heavy-ish moments I guess.

my main issue is the vocals. I can't get them quite "right".

Any tips? (vocals or otherwise)

pretty decent mix so far, guitars could come up a bit as well as crash cymbals. kick is also a little too bassy. and you might get a better tone from the toms and snare if you eq some 400-700hz out. the gang vocals are a tad loud.

as for the main vocals, the big thing for modern productions now is to compress the fuck out of them, so you may try some heavier compression settings. also, does the whole song need to be super auto-tuned?

Haha I suppose the tuning is a bit much, I'm a fan of the autotune sound though.

I hear you on the rest of the suggestions though, I'll give all of that a whirl.

By the way, that link now leads to a newer slightly tweaked mix. Any more opinions are definitely welcome - I know I definitely still need to do some vocal automation in certain spots.
