Sounds pretty good to me....it seems that my favorite album will still remain to be Damage Done, the vocals are the best on that album oh my god awesome! the vocals for this new song weren't so cool, I didn't like the chorus that much...I'm sure I will love it on the album. I don't know, Dark Tranquillity never blew me away live, I even got to sing into the mic with Stanne but I just didn't hear the drummer do everything that he does on the albums...same with the guitar players. regardless, they are still one of my favorite bands and have changed my life, I'm glad they are still writing rockin music! no more singing!!

Definatly sounds good! I really like the keyboards that play during the intro and then through some parts of the song. BTW, what is the "aussie aussie aussie, oi, oi, oi thing supposed to mean?

It's an Australian thing, often used when supporting sporting teams\athletes\pretty much anything

We did it at the Sydney gig and Stanne = confused.

He then did it himself to the croud in a later gig (see video).

If the whole album will be in the same vein as this song, well, then no real fuss for me in April. This song structure annoys the shit out of me, since DD it has become typical for DT - a decent intro in mid tempo and then da da di da da da, DA RIFF again! How many times have I heard it? Of course, they always change it a bit, but its the same riff over and over. Its boring, if you ask me.

I don't know, my friend made the same observation about all of the s.m.d.m. bands recently and I didn't really agree with the assessment all that much. To me, one of the parts I love most about DT's songs is the lyrical content. It's never quite what I would expect, and it's refreshing. I guess they are tending to use one style alot, but they do vary it - it's not as though half of their songs sound exactly the same. I'm sure they'll keep evolving - if it's one thing I think these guys do best, it's that.

Whats your point here? Exactly the same - well, of course not, such exaggerations are totally pointless. Their songs sound very similar, and since DD it could quite easily be half of them. This song does nothing with me, Ive heard songs like that before and not only from DT. Its the same thing over and over, and if the only way out of this is the IF way, then fuck it. If DT think they have explored the Projector/Haven regions enough, they are wrong, and as for evolving, I dont see any since Haven.

There are differences I can pick out between the albums, DD and Character included - the difference with the latter two is that the evolution hasn't been as severe as it was between TMI/Gallery stuff and Projector. I would love to see them go back to some of the themes behind Projector, but I do think they're currently going down a more Haven-esque path than anything else. Does it sound the same? No. But I can hear the influences.

It's easy to say: " They should go in that way, they should write this or that, etc" but I think that the best persons to know at what point they are and in what direction to go, it's themselves. Let's hear the whole album in a studio quality sound before... then we'll see

Anything even closesly resembling any of their former albums will be wonderfull, but it would be really nice if they evolve a bit. I hoped for more of what we heard on "The endless feed", guess we´ll have to wait and see.

Haha, I more meant Bono's position in all that - fucking peacemaker and charity, on a short leg with presidents and shit, but his glasses suck so bad - why the fuck even he wears them? That's some fucked up image; and yeah - if you want glasses - find something decent, cuz that Versace (or whatever it really is) looks fucking ridiculous.

Gay marriage: I dunno where teh fuck state and minorities stand on this issue, but I'd rather give it to decide to local states - in some gay marriage was allowed already. Sure enough I'd allow it in San Francisco (hehe). You know, I'd rather have fags married than allowing them spreading their metrosexual (in best case) propaganda. Fuck that.

There was a billboard on the way to Philly advertising Hollywood Tans, so the guy on it was 100% gay. Thank whoever - they changed it to the girl. Must admit she's not nearly that sexy (I have to). One more thing: I live right at one of most famous Philly sex-shop (it's been here for 30-40+ years), the address is the same, door to my apartment and door of the store are a few feet away from each other... I'd make it my residence.
