Devin Sounds awesome... That voice is amazing.

It's not like city... and while that dissapoints me somewhat, i wasn't expecting it to. It's more like his solo stuff, like Earth Day, which is fine.

It doesn't really remind me of black metal, especially not Darkthrone (my favorite BM band), but since everyone is talking about they see or don't see the BM influence, I can get the gist of what those are saying when they think there's a BM influence going on there. I recently put in my Emperor 'Equilibrium' CD, and now I think I can see the point some were making in their comparisons. Barely.

I doubt SYL were influenced by Emperor. I'm willing to bet it was an abnormal coincidence.
