I understand it's their choice to have it that way, but honestly what's the point? Fan-tabs are fan-tabs, they don't come with a perfection assurance and just about everyone knows this. If the band checks them out so seriously, why not just write them out themselves and sell it in a Tab book? This seems a bit ludicrous to me. Rather unnecessary. I suppose they can check/approve their fans as well

I think it's a matter of wanting the stuff that appears on their site to be at least remotely accurate. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Oh, of course. But usually these things are submitted by fans, and if you're a fan of a band, chances are you want it to be right. Especially if it's going to be submitted to the band's site, but that's just my thoughts. Anyway, like Tubbs said, there are other places to get tabs...

Am I the only one who finds most of these posts insulting to Luis? Tabbing out a SymX song takes a LOT of work... I know from experience (with many failures).

Why is it that checking out fan-made songs, and replying to questions... or even commenting on the writing process on their new album, is looked upon as if it would take 7 hours each day and the loss of sight to complete? I understand that they are busy, and that's cool, but we're not asking for TOO much. Many of the SymX fans out there were refered to SymX by other fans, which means that we've done a lot for the band. I go out of my way to support them because they rock it hard
Oh, well... I appreciate the effort regardless, Jax. As it has been said, nothing is really owed to us. I am thankful for the great music and inspiration.
