Did you try the direct recording ? What is it worth ? (not much I'm afraid)
By the way, the rack is on 2 2x12 Hughes & Kettner cabs loaded with Greenbacks, I know they're not v30 but I think I read good things about them here as well.

I personally liked the direct recording sound, much nicer than running it through my 4x10 ( :yuk: )

There are two of those 2x12. Apparently it should, since the guy before used it. I don't know about the Intellifex yet, didn't plug the beast, will do tomorrow (too late for this kind of amp now, lol).

Greenbacks can handle 25watts each according to the celestion website, that would mean each cab can handle 50watts each. Let us know how it sounds running a stereo 100watt power amp into those.

Argh, now you're freaking me out :ill: Does it mean I can blow them if I accidentaly turn the volume too high on the amp ?

Hey guys,

Mmmm, I have some kind of issue but I'm no quite sure about it yet, I'll inquire more tomorrow. It seems that one of the output is louder than the other one. I tried reversing the cabs, to see if they were responsible for this, but then the louder cab changes as well, so I guess it comes from the poweramp. By the way, I'm connecting them in Recto mode (the Level on the 2:100 isn't activated, it works just like a Rectifier and the Live Output from the Preamp is changing the volume). So, what could be the cause for this ?

No, just a very slight volume difference, but still enough for me to notice it and worry about it. If I connect the Preamp to the Poweramp normally (not in Recto mode), I just have to turn the level knob on one of the Channel very very slighly up (something like 10-15°). I looked at the tubes, one of them has a blue glow (very beautiful, haha), but I've read it was ok and nothing to worry about. Other than that, they have the same light, and are supposedly brand new...
