Im really digging this setup tonally. I recorded this for a drumjam over at the Harmony Central forums. I didnt do the drums, but I believe they were done with EZDrummer.

The Criminal model is 100 left/100 right...And a centered track with the Big Bottom.

What do you think of the tone?

What type of microphones did you select? And what EQ.

Yeah, I wish I had a bass. It would fill in some of the low end that Pman is talking about.

On the Criminal I had it around...

Drive - 1:00 o'clock
Bass - 3:00 o'clock
Mid - 10:00 o'clock
Trebel - 3:30 o'clock
Presence - 4 o'clock (almost maxed)

Treadplate cab, 57 off axis, 0 room

Screamer...Drive 0, Gain 21, Tone 100

And I used the POD's graphic EQ thing and boosted the lows a fair amount and cut the highs. (I used the one in Guitar Port software).

And for the big bottom model, specifics doesnt matter too much. A fairly dark tone with the gain around noon-ish will do. Just mess around with it.

it sounds good to me, the typical high end fizz from pods is hard to find here.
