this is a track i've been working on with a local band, their first time recording, and my first time recording this genre.

i'd really appreciate some feedback on how to improve it. deadlines coming up.

as the title says, it was my first time tracking clean vocals, using autotune blah blah

The screamed vocals sound pretty good, do you have any reverb on them? I've found that they tend to sit better if you slap a tad on before the compressor.

The mix overall is a bit heavy in the muddy nastiness frequencies, I might even just EQ some 100-200Hz out in the master.
The guitars could use some more sustain and punchiness, but the distortion is plenty. What did you use for them? I bet you can figure out how to make them bite more.
The kick doesn't really sound too punchy... Try bringing it up in the mix (snare and kick are generally the two most important instruments in this genre). What did you use for the drums? Assuming they're samples, you might try a more aggressive sample or an envelope control plugin or something.
The reverse snare or whatever that thing is sound far too boomy... you're trying to make it add smack to the next hit, try a HPF or something.
The toms stick out a bit too much.
Try adding bass drops and/or mega-gating and manually chopping up everything to make the breakdowns really hit home. The transition after the singing part sounds a little floppy. A better guitar tone and higher kicks might help though.

I think the guitars/bass sound pretty fine there, but drums are pretty dull (too machine) Snare is ok, but tom and kick samples aren't the best ones. They don't have the BOOM. You should ask Tad about it. Intro drumfill just reminds me of general midi :SSS

Guitars sound just a tad undergained, and boxy. Drums need to come up, they get buried in the mix too easily. Some of the transitions in the song feel weird. I hear a little clipping going on here and there, too.
