i spent the weekend recording guitars for an EP im recording for some guys. it was my first time using real amps, i'm scared i fucked it up.
this is them with just a tiny bit of eq. drums are edited but not mixed in any way.
amp was a 6505 into a super shitty cab loaded with a v30.. the cap of the speaker may have fallen off throughout the day without me realising... mic was a 57 about an inch away from the grill micing about where the cap meets the cone.
i'm in desperate need of some advice as to any eq or post processing i might be able to employ to hopefully save this shitty tone. any ideas welcome.

i have DI's if anyones keen to mess with re-amping?
