New York City

Just visited? Glad you had fun, if so...;) NYC is quite fun...always something to do, somewhere to go, diverse, great food, chicks. Maybe I'm spoiled because I live right next to it, but I always have the same feeling visiting other foreign cities as you.

Id rather be homeless in NYC than live in Sweden : ( (well, almost)
Yeah, just got home.
Flew to Fort Lauderdale on the 5th, went on the Oasis of the Seas (6th to 12th, St. Marteen, St. Thomas and the Bahamas), then to Key West the 13th, to Fort Lauderdale (where I bought a bass for a third of the price of what it would've cost in Sweden) the between the 14th and 20th, then Manhattan between 21st and 25th.
Best vaccation EVER, don't think anything will top that (exept if my wishes of going to CA and driving to Las Vegas and then going to NYC with a couple of friends comes true ;3).

I went to NY when I was 8yo. Visited the empire states building, ate the best spaguetti ever, ate mcdonalds for the 1st time (burger king too), saw a lot of cool things. Never took it off my memory.

NYC kinda loses it's appeal when you gotta commute into it every morning. I live about 40min upstate of it, and after seeing all the sites and stuff it's just a hassle. Last two times I was there was to see Jedi Mind Tricks and before that Iced Earth. Def worth it for sure, but driving there is like gambling with your life haha. Lots of slammin' women though, which is arguably worth the risk .

I've been to many places on business travel and even though it's right next door to me (I live in Connecticut), but NYC is still one of my favorite places to go. I tend to stay at the Westin Times Square at least once every four months while I'm at our Global Headquarters for a variety of shit. Love the hotel and love the city. Don't get me wrong, I do like the San Diego area as well - we have a facility over in La Jolla (which is beautiful by the way), I just don't travel there as much - perhaps only once a year.

While I would probably rather live in La Jolla than NYC - for just visiting and having a good time while I'm there on short business trips, NYC has always been a fun trip. Then there's Vegas off course - but as always "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" so I'll say no more (went to Interop conference back in 2006 and 2007 in LV and much fun was had).

Nope, but I really want to go to there. What is there to do/see there? (My grandpas common-law wife's (?) daughter lives in San Diego!)

So it's like your aunt-in-law?

San Diego has got some 'touristy' things like the San Diego Zoo, Belmont Park (amusement park right on the beach), Coronado Island, Balboa Park, etc... but the best part about San Diego, IMO, is just the atmosphere - I'd be more than happy to grab a hotel or crash on a friends couch (have done this numerous times) for 3-4 days, and just spend them walking around the downtown areas of La Jolla/San Diego/La Jolla Cove Beach, finding local food places, enjoying the scenery (the women here are spectacular), etc.

Super fun place just to 'chill-out' and take a few days off of real-life!

That said, I'll be in NYC for a week this April, and it'll be my first time visiting the city at an age where I'll be able to take advantage of what the night life has to offer... should be fun.
