how to growl

my advice for growling is to push your adams apple down as far as you can, clench your throat, and push with your stomach. with time comes volume and power. it'll hurt for a while and make you light headed so don't make the mistake of passing out while doing vocals (i hit my head on the side of my dresser and bled every where) practice makes perfect and it could take a few months. also, while doing vocals, i like to drink mountain dew because it helps lubricate your throat and it gives your vocals a wetter sound. also, when using a mic, don't cup it. if you can't make a good sound without cupping the mic, keep on practicing. if you still can't do it, you weren't cut out for growling. i hope this helps some
