I think the snare lacks some serious body, same for toms but that's much more forgivable with toms in fast genres. The snare though, in my opinion sounds way too "flat" if you get what I mean. Still, overall very nice mix.

Thanks man! I normally like the snare to be a bit more full however I felt like it was taking up headroom, being that its in a faster context I like where it sits as is as well as the toms. But yeah man, thanks for checking it out!

I personally feel that the drums shells are fine but a bit too present in the mix. I wish the guitars and bass were just a tad louder, but all in all it's a very solid mix.

I think the balance is not good on this one, although the mix of the instruments thenselfs are good.
When I mean balance I mean that its almost a 2D feeling. Everything is just in your face, but without depth. Also I feel a lack of clarity on guitars.
Hi hat is too much upfront IMO, that disturbes me. Too much information.
Production wise I would say that the snare fits the mix, but it doesn't sound good. (maybe blending with other snares? That should sound better, but will eat space on a mix thats already full)
