Looks like Thorpe has found a new vocalist for Vicious Rumors. I hated it when l heard they parted ways with Rivera...Warball was killer. Hopefully this new singer will fit.

Vicious Rumors is proud to announce Ronnie Stixx as our new lead singer. The Ball keeps rolling with a new CD and tour dates to follow . Ronnie showed up and blew the band away with his powerful voice. The first night he sang with us it was like he was in the band for years. It was amazing Geoff said.
Ronnie was born in Los Angels and raised in San Antonio Texas. He has made a name for himself in the metal world with a vocal style that is melodic and aggressive. Ronnie's main influence's are such great vocalist as Carl Albert (VR) Tony Harnell (TNT) and Ronnie James Dio. Ronnie is no stranger to the big stage performing at major festivals through out Europe and the USA .He has fronted such bands as England's Shadow Keep and Americas Divine Ruin. The VR Machine is back!!! A new CD and new Blood. Major world wide touring is in the works. The first show is March 29 at the Britannia Arms in Cupertino CA

I agree. Warball was great with JR on it. I have heard this new guy before though - I think he was fronting the band SHADOWKEEP at the BW&BK fest a few years ago. He was good if I remember correctly, but not as good as JR is, that's for sure!

Coolness...Shadow Keep were a great band.

You know, I love the core of VR to death, but I wish they'd stop letting me get attached to so-and-so only to replace him with someone else. :bah:

If it's not singers, it's guitarists.
If it's not guitarists, it's bassists.

Geoff?! Larry?! I'm talking to YOU GUYS...

Rivera was great, for sure...one of my (many) favorite vocalists.
I spoke to him last year after their show out here, and he told me that Helstar is looking into putting out some kind of compilation album of their best tunes (I guess it would be a "greatest hits" of sorts) and perhaps a tour to follow...but that was the first, and last, that I heard of it. :saint:

Well, good luck to Ronnie Stixx, and if he's still there in three months I'll go ahead and get to know more about him. :Smug:
