Next gig....

I would have to say Death Angel tonight in Anaheim. Of course I went last night to the show in Hollywood, and the night before in San Diego.... but they're one of my all-time faves. Thursday is Children of Bodom!!!!!

Wrong...
Thursday is Iced Fucking Earth :D
So is Tuesday
Wrong....... Children of Bodom. I'm leaving right after they play. I'd rather go over to the Key Club and watch Otep then sit through Iced Earth. Sorry Zac, I know you love em', but they make me laugh. I haven't even seen them since 2000 when they toured with Nevermore..... When In Flames/Jag Panzer opened for them.... I left right after In Flames. I just don't understand how people like that. I can't watch them without laughing.

I saw Iced Earth a month ago now I suppose it was in Phila with Children..and Evergrey, and I intend to go to the NJ show on June 14. Anyone know if the openers are the same? I liked Evergrey's set and it would be cool to see them again.

The openers on the second leg of the US tour are Beyond the Embrace and another band I can't remember.

BTW, Richard Christy isn't in Iced Earth anymore as of tonite. He will be replaced by Bobby Jarzombek (ex halford)

Bobby's is a helluva nice guy.
But wow I'm glad I heard the drums of Gettysburg from Mr Christie himself. So what's the scoop? Why the change? Thx for the reply by the by :)

A couple of months ago, Richard sent some comedy stuff to Howard Stern and Howard thought he was hilarious. When I met Richard on april 28th, I asked him what was going on with the Howard Stern gig, and he said that he was passing an audition the day after. Well lo and behold, about 2 or 3 days ago, I read that Richard decided to leave the band to pursue what he called the greatest radio show of all time and that its been his dream for many many years. The thing is that he doesn't even have the job yet, he is in the top 10. So he informed his bandmates in the middle of the tour that he was leaving the band to try and get a job on the Howard Stern show, but if things don't work out, he will go back to his old day job (electrician)

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I don't expect that a lot of metal fans have heard about them, just like many rockabilly fans probably haven't heard about Jag Panzer. :) They're not metal at all, but they wail just the same. Here's a link to their site -- http://www.reverendhortonheat.com

Enjoy!

**Edit** This was supposed to be in response to Harry(Not the Tyrant), but for some reason, the text I quoted isn't here. :err:

Thanks Caldron that is something I had heard nothing about, so tell me more if you can. Since I get Howards show will I heard Richard Christie's?

Zac, I know you had a damn good time. Isn't the setlist AMAZING???? The 30 mins of Gettysburg you might think at first hmmmm that's just gonna be so long how will it work out. But it zooms by and of course the guitar work is so amazing and much like Maiden's Paschendale the "bombs" and Special FX make you feel as if you are on the battlefield.
The Rebel and American flags and guitars were a treat for the eyeballs.
So tell us???? how did you like it?

If Richard gets the job, you will hear his comedy stuff on a daily basis.

YOu can go on icedearth.com there should be the official messages from Jon and Richard. You will be able to get all the information you need from the messages!
