Yeah that was pretty sick. No I don't miss LT. Mathews is going to be a bad ass. He averaged 4 yards per cary. Made a key fumble that led to a KC TD. The weather was fucked up, crowd was insane. A lot of fluke plays. We will rebound and win the division I am not worried about it.

Ask Tomlinson how his team did tonight!

Just 1 game. We always start slow and rebound and win the division. That is how we roll!

It's a pretty tall order for any team to go into Arrowhead and win, add the fact that it was their home opener on a Monday night with a division foe and it seemed pretty damn unlikely to me (So much so that I took the home team +5 1/2) I don't know what the hell the oddsmakers were thinking making the Chargers the favorite there?!? I feel the same way about the Falcons being favored in Pittsburgh, they weren't going to beat them I don't care if the towel boy was the QB.. They're a run/defense based team to the core and are damn good at it!!

Anyone else think Joe Flacco still looks green? I know the Jets defense was on their game but he better buy Boldin a car or something if he intends to lean on him all year like that (Boldin was awesome last night!!) I figure next week will be T.J.'s time to shine against the Bengals.

Patrick Willis is the 2nd coming of Ray Lewis but damn don't throw any dirt on Ray yet!! He is still the beast he's always been!! I hope he can play that high an output all year long!

That was one of the best Monday nighters I've watched in a LONG time!!

Well the Chargers have won in Arrowhead the majority of the time Rivers has been QB. The Chargers will win that game 9/10 times. This was just one of those fluke things. Special teams giving up a TD, the Rain pouring down, Receivers slipping etc. I would take the Chargers - 5.5 any day in KC against the Quiefs in KC. The majority of the time they will win and cover. Just didn't happen last night.

You will see just how bad the Cheifs are at the end of the season when they are sitting 4-12 5-11 tops

Chiefs were 1/11 on 3rd down conversions. They were pathetic. But we gave up 2 big plays and you can't do that and win, so we were more pathetic. I am no way giving them excuses but I do know that the Charger team is far superior to the Chiefs and no matter where they play they should beat them by 5.5 points every single time.

I never put money on the Chargers though I have learned that lesson over and over again

Isn't that kind of like saying if Michael Johnson runs in the Special Olympics he'd always win?? Sorry but the Chargers beating any of the teams in the horrible AFC West won't impress too many people (Except winning in Denver, yet another tough place to win) Like I said the measuring stick for the Chargers comes on Oct 24th playing the hardest game on their schedule (At home) against a team known for beating them.

He was regularly recognized for his ability to build a team, not simply collecting individual talent, helping to make the Patriots a "model franchise." From 2000–2008, the Patriots had an NFL-best record of 102-42 (.708) and registered 14 playoff victories. Bringing players to the Patriots who fit into the framework of the club. Pioli teams are noted for the depth of talent at all the positions and use an effective combination of draft picks, free-agent signings, and trades to continually upgrade their roster.

And with Romeo Crennel a proven winner as a D/C if you don't think as the Chargers regress the Chiefs won't be improving from year to year you're just as delusional as Thraxx's dreams of a Raider Super Bowl this century.

Like I said, I'm no Chiefs fan and the fact that they suck is all too obvious but I'm not willing to call hard nosed inspired play a flukey/lucky win, they could've just played dead (Like Oakland does) but like I said on the opening Monday night against a team who beats them regularly, on their home turf the defense played well enough to win, with a little help from playing at home.

With all of that said there is no way the Chiefs win more than 5 games all season. Thats the bottom line. Coaching can only take a talentless team like the Chiefs so far.

The Chiefs can only improve. It is hard to get worse than 2-14 3-13 etc. So there is not much to go by. They are many years away and many trades/drafts away from being even considered a decent team.

The Chargers have won the division every year since Rivers has been at QB. So it can only go down from there. But we will see. Our GM has a way of putting together winning teams, year after year.

I think Thraxx's Raiders are much further along than the Chiefs and have a much better chance of being a good team in the next year or 2 than the Quiefs
