ok, it's cheap, atm 75 euros and it seems that i can sound pretty good.
BUTT what a pain in the ass.
First off, it took me 2 hours to figure out how to work the multi out proprely.
in few words, when you make any changes in the multiouts you have to take the plugin off the track, close pro tools, restart pro tools, open the session, insert a new kontakt instance and then load the outs as a default. then finally the outs will show up as plugin ins for your auxs.
now that was already a pain. and now i notice that nothing is panned by default in the mix. wtf is that. why didnt they pan the HH and toms, like in SD 2.0.
i mean come on, when you open SD 2.0, everything sounds already quite good. in studio drummer the room is too huge and the toms aren't even panned.
i still have to sink my teeth into this one, and especially the 3 kits, but i am not impressed.
i love that the ram is loaded out of pro tools via the kontakt memory server though. but yaaa.
back to SD2.0.
