sam, i think that yes, the movie might have more dimensions if you buy into the finding-his-faith thing and all that, but i stand by my statement that the actual events of the movie do not really have a lot of bearing on what the movie is about. they're tools, basically.
I haven't seen Testament. Is it more akin to SIGNS than other family-during-a-crisis films/books?
