Nightingale track numbers?

Just bought the new Nightingale album and something struck me as curious: The tracks are numbered 27 to 36.
If I count the tracks on the previous albums (not being nitpicky, I just numbered them so I can play them in the correct order of the story in winamp, "I" going first, etc.), I get 28, so recollections should be 29, not 27.

Did the label get the numbers wrong or do I have bonus tracks on my cd and didn't know it?

Just being curious...



Ah, and while we're at it - is there a way to get the live CD of Nightingale's US concert? I only have the Motala/Hallsberg recordings of 2001. My collector's genes scream "get them all" and I think I should listen to them.

"Sleep" and "The return to dreamland" are both on "The breathing shadow"-album, tracks 2 and 6, respectively.

Aren't they on yours??

The breathing shadow - 10 tracks
The closing chronicles - 7 tracks
I - 11 tracks
Alive again - 10 tracks

voila - 38 tracks total.

This is strange...

yeah, you missed Sleep and The Return to Dreamland...

hrm.. Ivan left these off of the discography section of the Ngale site, which is where I just pulled them from..

I think I may have omitted instrumentals or something ("Sleep" and "Breathing".... but it was a calculated effort. Can't remember how I came to that....

at any rate, the intentions were to confuse people... and it was mentioned in several reviews as "movements 27-38 of the saga".... so it worked.

Maybe next time we will use mathematical symbols like Pi and Phi instead.... (actually, if you use Pi and Phi theorems, you can cheat an IQ test.....)

Still wonder why they left them out - both are cool songs (no instrumentals, at that).

Maybe the Swedes count differently.
What they call a mile is ten metric kilometres, so...


Being a collector of Danne's stuff, I wonder how much stuff there is I still don't have. It used to be so easy.

A while ago there was a thread that listed all of Dan's projects and releases.... LOTS of stuff... have a looksie and see it you can find it.
