I got Nightingale's "Alive Again" a few days ago and havent been able to hit the stop button. It is just really really great. I like it more than I but i cannot compare it to the first two (since i still need to pick them up). Dan Swano sounds amazing with his unique low range voice which sounds much more confident this time round. The music is very nicely aranged and it has a great prog rock sound to it. Every song on the album is great and there is never a skip from one song to another.

Great stuff and i give it some of my highest recommendations.

This might already be my album of the year, that is until ARK comes out (hopefully), Nevermore with "Enemies of Reality", Zero Hour, and im hearing maybe a new Fates Warning hopefully....Damn, who has all this money to spend? *grumble grumble*

I got it a couple weeks ago. I've only given it 2 listens... and I think it's very boring. I was excited by fiery guitar and strong vocal hooks of "Shadowman"... but unfortunately the rest of the album is nothing like it... very laid back and brooding. I'll have to give it a few more listens before forming a final opinion, but I'm disappointed in it at present.

My album of 2003 will most likely be Evergrey - "Recreation Day". The new albums by Zero Hour, Nevermore and Fates Warning will all probably place high as well.

The new Nightingale is amazing. It's the kind of album that gets better with each listen. Forever And Never is my favorite 2003 song right now.
