Nirvana led the grunge movement, grunge was 90s EMO. They created a trend, and the tred was big for like 5 years. Then some fool shoot himself and people got bored. A bunchof songs about Suicide (like emo), and songs about teen angst (like emo).

But in seriousness, I just made this thread cause I was bored and I like to poke at Lithium.

And no nirvana isn't 90's emothats just dumb to say...emo was formed way after that by a bunch of californian fag bands singing about how they hate their parents and lives, about slitting their wrist because they love chicks, wtc.

Nirvana never sang about stuff like that....Cobain was teh voice of the generation of that time, brought punkrock back to the mainstream, instead of some fagz0r hairmetal bands and tina fucking turner. OK, they weren't gr1m tr00 n3cr0 Shredders whatever....but most of the songs are fuckin great imo

Kurt was all "uhh im said ". It wasn't punk at all. Punk was about somthing worthwhile like the government, and drugs.

Nirvana were the EMO of the good times... you can simply see and hear it in their approach and performance everything is sad and "i am too lazy to play so i will just fallow lil bit with that noise"
the only reason why people like them and noticed them is indeed cause curt had nice voice
