kevin smith probably wants to just make a movie that has something different...he's an awesome director, and capable of a lot...i'm sure without those two caracters the movie will come out to be something a lot more origianl
jay and silent bob are classic characters...we'll probably see them again some day....i'm surprised this would be the first movie without them...
