I have slate trigger platinum and running it in Cubase 6.5. I do not see the option for leakage suppression. I know it's supposed to be under the hpf and mix settings but it's not there. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to solve it?

Is it because it's not set up on a stereo FX bus? I use mine on individual channels and I also don't see that option.

What's the advantage of setting it up this way as opposed to using an instance of trigger on each track and using the "Mix" control?

(Or am I misunderstanding leakage suppression?)

looks like that solved it. It doesn't show up unless I put it on an fx bus which is what I would need to do to use it in the first place. I was just worried something was wrong. Thanks man!

BTW to answer my own question (reading the manual can be very helpful..)

Leakage suppression basically lets you aux-in a sidechain and use that to avoid triggering from the wrong instrument.

Say you've got a snare track with a ton of kick bleed that is causing mistriggers. You can send an aux from the kick to TRIGGER on the snare track and tell it when not to trigger based on that sidechain input.

Sorry if that's obvious to anyone... Assuming it could be useful to someone who lacks manual-reading motivation as I generally do.
