Sorry guys, after much though all of us in OBERON find that all ages events are no good for us. These young kids are just not into Traditional Metal or Power Metal. Until, we see that they are were not doing any more all ages.
It's not that we think that "all ages events are no good for us. ".....Any event is good 4 metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's just that we would'nt be ready for this gig,as per jam time ,etc.
I'm sure you'll eventually see us at an all-ages show again!!!
I have no problem playing an all ages show agian. It was definitely a different crowd. Seeing people in their un-metal t-shirts (static x, kornfly, shitnot, etc) was dissapointing, but who knows...maybe if they learn about real heavy metal and not this rapcore / mallcore / heavy alternative shit they will actually see the light and like it! No one booed WASP for example...so I am not against playing at these types of gigs in the future.
