Nocturnal Rites pre Afterlife = some of the best music of all time.
Nocturnal Rites Afterlife and on = good power metal with the occasional amazing track.

So basically Nocturnal Rites = Awesome band.

Awesome band, I love Shadowland.

Saw them live last year and they TOTALLY blew me away.
