+ w/ BLEEDING THROUGH

Hm, maybe that's why Darkest Hour happened to be 'special guests' on a death metal gig here a few months a go. I saw Jonas on that gig and I talked to him about it on a signing session like the week after. As I recall it he wasn't all that impressed by their stuff, "pretty okay, kind of melodious". He liked Throneaeon's stuff better and I agree, the other (swedish) bands who played later on that same night were in a way different league when it comes to classy performances. Guess that the audiences got different demands here than in North America, where obviously Darkest Hour's stuff works ok.

But about that band; they didn't even have a setlist for that gig, did a pretty flat performance even though they only played like 5 songs and had the dumbest stageshow I've ever seen. I'm kind of suprised that they got this chance but, who am I to tell...

Ok, so now I'm confused - Taken from their official site;

"darkest hour has made it back safe from Europe. We had an amazing time recording our next full length, on Victory Records, entitled "Hidden Hands of A Sadist Nation". Make sure to check out the MP3, we just posted. We are happy to anounce some guest appearances: Tomas Lindberg (At the Gates, The Crown), Anders Björler (At the Gates, The Haunted), Peter Wichers (Soil Work), and Marcus Sunesson (The Crown). We'd like to thank all our new friends in Sweden for a great experience. We've also announced a string of new shows. We hope to leave for tour the end of April, or beginning of May. Check back here for news on the release date and tour confirmations."

Katatklysm has been added :) I want to go to the LA show but I'm not sure if I can get a ride. The shows are fucking cheap so far, I've seen $10-12.50! I'm excited if I can go! It will be dumb to see a bunch of moshers for Bleeding Through, hardcore isn't my thing, but whatever The Haunted and Katatklysm, that is my thing! :)

The people going to the Jaxx show on May 18 are in luck. Also included on the bill are Hate Eternal and Goatwhore, due to the cancelled show on May 19. It's going to be one helluva show.

Good thing Jay worked that out, I just hope it doesn't translate in less time for THE HAUNTED.
