Hello,
I'm just looking to find some show goers up here that live in NC. When I went to Jon Oliva a while back, I realized there is a good amount of us. Just trying to hook up with all the NC folks on the forums to possibly go to some shows that appear in NC, or at least keep me informed of some of the smaller ones I don't have on my radar.

How far are you willing to drive? I have some nice stuff coming "relatively close" to you in a few months. :)

Hahaha... For our type of music, "relatively close" is an undefinable term.
It will always depend on the band, too.
Obviously within the state of NC, I'm good with.

I have recently not gone to the IE, Sabaton, Revamp, and ASOT show at the Empire in Springfield, VA (killed me) because I couldn't logistically work it out without dying the next day at work due to drive time.

I haven't seen anything South (South Carolina) that I can think of, ever.

And west, there's Nashville, which is about 8-10 hours...blech.

Down in Wilmington here. Ziggy's By The Sea is a new club in the area that had Lacuna Coil recently and *gag* Geoff Tate in August. Maybe Milton can send something more interesting down here, because I can't really get to Raleigh/Winston/Charlotte.

Well... the area (from Springfield down to Raleigh/Charlotte and even possibly Wilmington) will be getting some shows in the second semester. Power, prog... there's something for all!:kickass:

I better see you guys at the shows though. :P

As long as it's not during my retail no-no time (late August, late November, couple days in late October), my ass will most likely be there.
