Not Even Slinky Strings

Hello all. My son gave me a Jackson shark-fin with stock passive EMG-HZ pickups and a Jackson “Dinky” with stock Jackson pickups. Both have a Floyd Rose. One of the 2 guitars is getting the Ernie Ball “Not Even Slinky” strings and being tuned down at least two steps. I’m looking for a Slipknot kind of tone.

Which axe do you think would sound better ? I’m interested in you opinions and comments.
