Not sure what genre(hardcore/metalcore?) opinions on song writing and mix please!

My band went a little heavier than before and finally have a bassist that has a decent bass! thank the lord! Tell me what you guys think about this mix. So many things have changed since the last song we recorded and im a little insecure about how this sounds! Haha.

The mix ducks quite a lot when the vocals come in after the intro, which is a little distracting and the higher vocals seem a little harsh, maybe push them back a wee bit. The hi hats also sound a little loud. And the bridge part at 2:30, I can't really tell what's going on there. Sounds cluttered, and I feel like it could be due to the reverb on the vox. Fix these up and you'll have yourself a pretty good mix. Although i would brighten up the guitars a little, but that's just my own taste.
