Italy's Novembre mix a variety of styles on their debut, Wish I Could Dream It Again. The vocals alternate between goth crooning and death, and the music follows suit -- sometimes ponderous doom, sometimes up-tempo (almost death speed), and other times they go for the atmospheric sound with keyboards and acoustic guitars and the like. The later albums have relaxed into a style not too dissimilar from a mid-period My Dying Bride.

holy god in heaven yes please kthanks!! can't wait..hope they come with kats

perfection right there

Wow! This is great news. I think they'd do MUCH better supporting a larger act though, as I can't see them drawing much of a crowd, as unfair to the band as that may be.

I mean, how many Novembre fans could there possibly be in the States? Even most people I know who've heard of Katatonia before (which is next-to-noone) have never even heard of Novembre.

That sounds quite weird... I know some Novembre fans from here and when I went to see Kat and them last spring there were just a few fans on those gigs. Unfair it truly is :/ They were quite nice and Carmelo's vox weren't out of tune unlike on some bootlegs I've seen.

:headbang: HOT damn!!! Novembre are indeed an awesome band and the fact they are coming to Canada seems unreal to me. Whoa, first Katatonia (which I seriously thought I'd never see live) and now Novembre - life is fucking good!

:) Now if the show consisted of Katatonia+Novembre - whoa, that'd be I can dream, right? :loco: An Aqualunæ dream?

I'll be there - for Novembre, anything. o_O Wow, the thought of them playing the dreamy Croma live. Please PLEASE play Toronto!

^ I think it has happened. Montreal, Quebec City and Vancouver or something and no Toronto (forget what show). It's usually unlikely. In fact, London would be better for me (but THAT is far more unlikely.)

I was very glad to hear that you had contacted my friend Anna about booking this! I was really surprised because, like many others on this thread, I never thought Novembre would tour the states. Unfortunately I don't think anyone in Texas knows who they are but she always does a damn good job of promoting and choosing the right local support so I'm sure the show will be packed. Cheers...
