Now here's a show to see

Guitar shredders extraordinaire Marty Friedman (ex-MEGADETH), Alex Skolnick (ex-TESTAMENT, SAVATAGE) and Chris Poland (ex-MEGADETH) will be teaming up for a U.S. tour later in the summer. Friedman will be performing as a solo artist while Poland and Skolnick will be showcasing their current group projects, OHM and THE ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO, respectively.

The trek, dubbed "Guitarevolution", will hit the following cities in early September, according to Pollstar:

Sep. 06 - Tempe, AZ @ Marquee Theatre
Sep. 08 - San Diego, CA @ Canes
Sep. 09 - Santa Ana, CA @ Galaxy Theatre
Sep. 10 - West Hollywood, CA @ The Troubadour
Sep. 11 - San Francisco, CA @ Slim's
Sep. 12 - Orangevale, CA @ The Boardwalk

i've always loved chris poland~ in 1990 i listened to return to metalopolis every day~ i'm definately going to check out ohm now.
freidman has new stuff out too? geez, i've been listening to too much rap lately!!!!

I liked that album too. I saw him play it live at the Whisky with his brother in the band. Cool show. I've seen Megadeth with every guitarist, but the last guy and Chris was hands down the best live.

Well if it was the G3 with Eric Johnson, I definatley disagree. No one can touch him today in tone or technique. Truly in his own league. Don't get me wrong, those 3 guys still rip!

Hmm...that show at the Galaxy is on my b-day and it's a local gig just 2 miles or so from my work...

I probably still won't go to it! Probably just sit in my room and turn off the phone even though nobody calls anyways.
