Now playing...

I prefer Jan barnett also.....I was not impressed with storytellers rain though....Just didnt have the same kind of vibe to it.....did you know ferdy doernberg is also in axel rudi pell??:) .....anyway if you don't have " walls of never" you should get it:)

I have a few Axel Rudi Pell cd's so yes, I do know.

Have you heard the new Rough Silk "Symphony of Life" ?
It sounds to me like the band is going to a direction of sounding like Storyteller's Rain. That's not too big a surprise since Ferdy writes (I think) most of Rough Silk's music.
I will buy some of the older stuff, but right now I'm waiting for my Conception order to arrive.

what did you think of him as a performer? some of his influences are pantera and slayer...can you tell....ha ha......

Ha ha....yeah, I think you can tell that a bit ;)
It also occurred to me that I have seen him before when VR played as support for Blind Guardian in 1998.
I cannot really remember that gig (*bows her head in shame*) but I think I wasn't exactly impressed at the time.
This time though, as I already said, it was great and I wished they had played longer, just right before Savatage (Blaze got that slot instead  )

hey gums........I forgot to tell you that annihilator is from canada.....:D :D

Oh really? Interesting
I listened to some of their stuff, but it didn't impress me all that much.
But I was short on time, so I didn't get a chance to listen to the stuff you guys recommended, and I really wasn't paying all that much attention :p
But now that I hear that they're from Canada, they are good in my books no matter what
@Kalmakoff - Believe me, I'm quite familiar with cold weather :)
