I recently got hold of this bad boy, it's Gretsch's new Bell Brass snare - probably the closest thing to an original Tama Bell Brass you can get without spending crazy money (except perhaps the Pearl Reference Brass). It's got the 3mm shell so it weighs a ton and is louder than God. I used it for a recent session with a Remo CS head tuned medium-high and it really does record incredibly, here's a clip (no samples on anything):
