Reunited New York thrashers NUCLEAR ASSAULT will reportedly enter the studio in early August to begin recording their first studio album since 1993's "Something Wicked", tentatively due in late 2003/early 2004 through Screaming Ferret Wreckords. The band, who issued a live album, entitled "Alive Again", earlier in the year, were previously quoted as saying that the new album would be very much in the same direction as the group's old material. "I think the metal scene NEEDS an injection of classic thrash metal 'cos I've had enough of people thinking LINKIN PARK is metal," bassist Danny Lilker said. "We'll have to show these youngsters how metal is really played!"

saw 'em live in april and can't wait for their new album, talked a lil' bit to Danny and the boys, will see 'em again this year with Exodus (fuck yeah, my first Exodus-gig) and Agent Steel (yes)

Thrash Or Be Thrashed!

Man, I missed the fuck out of Nuclear Assault!! I still jam on Handle with Care and The Plague today. Saw them the first time with Testament back in 89 and will see the fuckers again if they ever roll through Cincy.........

Hopefully I'm going watching them in October with Exodus, Angent Steel, Behemoth, Grave, Mortician, Carnal Forge, Occult and Callenish Circle.
I'm looking forward to mainly Nuclear Assault, Grave and Mortician. Oh and Exodus.
